TSR Monitoring
Total Shareholder Return (TSR) is a performance measure often used in conjunction with share schemes, in particular LTIPs.
TSR is generally used as a comparative measure with the company's performance being compared to the performance of its sector, an index or a bespoke group of competitor companies.
The idea behind TSR is to compare the performance of an investment in the company against is comparators. The highest return being ranked number one. The amount of the share award released to a participant in the share scheme is dependent on this performance.
