Remuneration Committee Advisors

Halliwell Consulting advises the remuneration committees of a wide range of both publicly quoted and private companies on all aspects of remuneration. Our consultants have the advantage of having acted as non-executive directors for companies and chairmen of remuneration committees giving us a unique perspective of how best to advise on these areas. Principal areas of advice include:

• Assisting the remuneration committee in developing its remuneration strategy.
• Advice on corporate governance and best practice.
• The development of shareholder consultation mechanisms to ensure clarity and transparency of the remuneration committee's policy on executive compensation and share schemes.
• Preparation of the remuneration committee report. In particular helping the committee to adapt to new legislative changes such as the draft legislation on directors' remuneration reporting.
• Liaison between executive directors and non-executive directors on aspects of their compensation and liaison between non-executive directors and executive directors in respect of their fees.
